Your help please on this 1950s Heuer for Abercrombie & Fitch

I purchased this watch a few years ago. Was hoping to find another dial for it but no luck.
Therefore I think of finally having it redone. I am pretty sure the dial itself is original to the watch and was badly refinished.
The 2 sub dials need to have the markings at the edge of the indented area but what about the 2 applied markers at 12?
They do look too far apart from each other.

It’s very unlikely it’s an original dial
