Nice Looking Watch / What Stage are You At?

Nice looking watch and an interesting story, how you came to develop it.

So what stage are you at, in terms of producing and selling watches? Are you ready for them to go into production? How many will you make? And at what price?

Yes, this is a little off-topic, but interesting . . . so let's see where it goes.

Also -- sorry that your earlier posts required approval by a moderator, but I believe that I have now addressed the issue that was causing this.

: Thanks!

: Indeed, watches that inspired me are Blancpain, Omega, Eterna, and
: so on. I'm a diver myself, born and raised by the sea, I surf,
: I've been a lifeguard etc. So it made sense to me to start with
: a dive watch.

: The movement used is the STP1-11 caliber. There are various reasons
: why I chose that:

: 1. ETA is still available on the market but it's becoming harder
: and harder to get them, impossible to get them from ETA
: themselves. => Modifications are impossible.
: 2. There are a few companies left to choose from, Eterna cal. 39
: (too high imo), Sellita SW200, Soprod and STP. Communication
: with STP was the best and they were willing to offer movement
: modifications.
: 3. STP added an extra jewel to the movement, it's basically a
: reworked ETA2824 clone but they made it better
: 4. By choosing STP I had the possibility to ask for 2 crown
: positions only, winding and time setting, an important feature
: in my opinion. They are easy to service as well.

: I wanted to launch my first model with a proper workhorse movement,
: that is reliable and not overexpensive.
