Re: I Haven't Studied the Results, But . . .

I hoped to pick up the Verona but had flown out to the east coast for business, and was up til 2:30am after my flight helping my wife out with a new job application.

So....I got distracted and slept through the 5:30am bidding time (EST). The Verona went for 950 pounds ($1240). Dammit.

Not sure how these auctions work but hopefully better luck next time and I can keep my eyes open.

: I haven't studied the results, or even made a list of the
: prices, but the bidding seemed weak.

: Top two lots appear to have been Belgian Air Force Carrera at
: $14,522 (final price) and IDF Autavia at $12,908. These two
: watches were on the cover of the catalog.

: So did anyone here catch a bargain??
