Portuguese Military Autavias – 2446C

Five and one half years ago, in November 2013, we had a big discussion about the Autavia 2446C that have some connection to the Portuguese armed forces [Forcas Armadas Portuguesas Ultramarinas].

Here is the thread from November 2013.

Lately, we have seen some of these watches coming onto the market, so I wanted to post photos of some samples and raise the question for discussion again.

Do we know anything more about these? Is anyone suggesting that Heuer actually completed these watches (which seems very unlikely, in view of the variety of hands, movement markings, etc.)? How do we value these?

Jeff
