Re: Fake Speedway Dial on Ebay.
In Response To: Fake Speedway Dial on Ebay. ()

Would have been too good to be true. The seller describes the dial as follows:

"I have been told by some experts that the Indianapolis Logo has been added and is not original. Please bid accordingly."

At least that's better than the deliberately retouched/photoshopped pictures in the catalogues of some designated auction house. Maybe they should add a similar sentence to the descriptions in the catalogue: "We have been told that the high resolution close-up photo we are showing you does not reflect the actual condition of the watch. Please bid accordingly."

;-)

: What are peoples' thoughts on this 3147N dial? Seems like it is
: positioned improperly. The right tail on most speedway logo
: touch the bottom of the circle on the right.
