I saw it listed on ebay, and admired it until I saw the word "quartz" on the dial. I looked again, and tried to convince myself that I should give it a shot, even though it is powered by a quartz movement. In the end, the nightmare image of the second hand "clicking" in whole seconds instead of "sweeping" in 1/5ths was more than I could handle, so I decided to pass.

You should be careful -- if you keep telling us how great these quartz chronos can be, the "price of poker" may go up.
