Re: Omega and Darwil..
In Response To: Omega and Darwil.. ()

: Hi everyone,

: This is a question partially related to Omega.
: My father has a watch called
: "DARWIIL" he bought
: in 1968 in Yugoslavia, a year before we left
: the country.
: It is swis made.
: Now I heard that Omega bought out the
: "darwil"
: company, and some other companies.
: Does anyone know if this is true?
: Or has anyone ever heard of the name?
: Any info would help. Hi
My name is Igor and I am from Yugoslavia and Darwil was one of the most famous and popular watches in the region douring the 60's and 70's. My father had one and my grandfather still owns one. I have been trying to find one to buy for my fathers birthday but I am not able to find one and all my research ends up at Omega. It looks that Omega did buy out Darwil and that only way you can get one is to find an old used one.
