Does this sound like it works?.................

This guy has found a way to "de-fog" his watch (if it gets water in it). He "puts the watch in a small plastic bag (sandwich bag) with the crown open (I assume). The bag is not tied, but left loosly open (loosely wrapped around the watch)... this whole mess is stuck into a jar with some Uncle Ben's rice... The dry rice draws the moisture out" of the watch.

I know it won't keep the watch from leaking, but at least I saved a couple of $$. Take care, "a dude" (dont know his name)

Don't know if this whole plan works, but it is an idea. (sounds pretty primitive, but free and worth a try). It definetly doesn't explain the whole reason why the watch leaked in the first place, but what do you want for nutin?

Just an idea, thought I'd pass it along to you guys. (you got any better ideas you can do at home to defog a watch, then let me know!)

Dog me if you want, but hey, I'm just passin info on to Omega owners! Let me know if this whole deal REALLY works! Gene
