Chuck:

Nice to see this collection of Zeniths.

In terms of the gene pool, here is the one of yours that is closest to mine, wouldn't you say??

When all is said and done, I probably prefer your bezel (as the hours are useful for second timezone), but prefer the overall design of mine [as you know, with all respect to the Speedmasters and Daytonas, the fixed tachy scales don't do much for me]. I imagine that my chrono may be a shade smaller (with lug-to-lug at 46.5 mm, across the dial at 40 mm, and total depth, including crystal of 13.5 mm).

Both of these are awesome Tool Watches; clearly built to do a job!!

Jeff

: Who Has a Zenith (or Six) ? ? ? Posted By:

: We have done some Zodiacs, so maybe time for
: some Zeniths. (No real connection (that I am
: aware of), except sharing the same protion
: of the alphabet.)

: This one arrived last week . . . my first
: manual-wind Zenith chronograph. I have been
: wearing it all week . . . amazingly good
: runner, in terms of accuracy . . . chrono
: functions (start / stop / reset) feel as if
: watch were brand new.

: So do any readers have a Zenith (or six) to
: share? Maybe a Movado cousin?

: Jeff I don't own a Zenith nor six
: Zeniths... I don't own an Movado cousin [nor
: Concord cousin, nor TAG-Heuer cousin, nor
: Rolex cousin].

: Actually, I own 8 Zenith's currently. But I
: only have pictures of 7 of them at the
: moment... Here are some snaps:

: I also own an all Titanium Black dial version
: of the watch in the center above
: [Triple-Date Moonphase] which I haven't
: taken any pictures of yet. I also own one
: Zenith Pocket watch:

: Which is not exactly a tool watch... In
: fact the most "Tool watch-y" of
: these Zenith's is probably the
: Pilot-Diver's: As it has a Diver/Pilot
: bi-directionally rotatable bezel, followed
: by the "Tri-Color": As it has
: both a Tachy and Decimal under crystal
: bezel. That's the state of the Zenith
: collection at this time. I really only need
: one more Zenith to complete my Zenith
: wing... And that's the Espada...

: Yeah, I need one of those.

: [and I'm sure someone's going to say
: "That's a Want to Buy Post!".
: Yeah, it is, so what?]

: Enjoy! -- Chuck
