FS: Vintage Omega 2605 with Spider Lugs and Hourglass Dial

For sale is a very rare 1950s-60s Omega ref 2605-2. This particular variant is quite rare given the 36mm steel case with “spider” lugs, coupled with a beautiful cream-tone “hourglass” dial. I have yet to see another of this specific reference.

Case – 36mm without crown, stainless steel case. Signed omega crown. The case appears unpolished, retaining thick, even lugs. It is in good vintage condition.

Dial – “Hourglass” dial in original condition. There are a couple of marks on the dial as shown in pictures. Overall, it is in good vintage condition. The Omega font is crisp and this watch really pops in sunlight. Crystal has some mild scratches, which could easily be polished out.

Hands – original omega steel tone hands

Movement – Omega caliber 266 in working condition, keeping good time. I do not know the service history of this watch, so please take this into consideration before buying. However, it winds well and keeps good time on the wrist.

Price - $1k with some wiggle room for negotiation. It will come on the custom Italian strap pictured.

Thanks for looking.
