Two of the vintage Heuer "grails" are being auctioned by Iconeek, on Saturday, June 12, in Geneva.
The "Chronomatic" Carrera, Reference 1153, is one of the very first automatic chronographs produced by Heuer, in 1969; we have seen fewer than five of these Carreras offered in public sales.
The Carrera, Reference 1158 CHN (first execution) is 18 karat gold, and is on the original Milanese mesh bracelet. This is the most prized version of the Reference 1158 Carrera and the bracelet is extremely rare.
