Report from Italy and Israel

Hey Guys:
greetings from Haifa, Israel, and my first internet connection in almost a week.
The days in Italy were great (from the vacationing and Heuer perspectives) . . . the new Autavia chronograph is in all the high-end watch / jewelry shops, and one shop even had the white dial and the black dial versions. I took some photos -- to be posted sometime soon. Very impressive "in the metal".
The first three days in Israel have been fantastic. I have not spotted any Heuers yet, but life seems remarkably "normal" here. Haifa seems very relaxed, even in the public places. In Jerusalem, these are security guards at most of the public places (malls, hotels, restaurants, etc.) We visited one mall -- by the time they search your car (driving into the parking deck) and then search you (walking into the entrance), you actually feel fairly safe once you are inside.
Got to go now - - - almost 1:45 a.m.
Best,
Jeff
