2447 production years?

Hi! Some years ago somebody tried to solve the production years of pre Carrera ref. 2447 Heuers according to the serial numbers between lugs for example 66xxx or 70xxx. I gave also my Heuer's serial number to the list. Does anybody know anything about the listing?

Hi, This is supposedly a Heuer pilot monopusher chronograph from the 30s with a Valjoux 22 and 39mm case (first 3 images). What made me question its origin is that the monopushers of this type have smaller sub registers, like in the 4th image (this one has registers that extend farther into the ...

PVD Montreal case/Kentucky dial

I am looking at a PVD coated Montreal case (Stamped 750.503) but has a champagne Kentucky dial and the day/date is in German. The crown has the letter "S" on it--which I was told could be a supplier's mark ? I know Heuer might have been liberal in using cases and dials together---but is this a ...

I hope that you will find these Heuers interesting and will help me find out more about them. I know nothing about oval racing for what I believe they were made. The watches were for sale on eBay from Spain and I could not resist, as in many years of collecting Heuer stopwatches, have never seen ...
