Heuer Skipper

Hi New to the forum,
I aquired a Heuer Skipper blue face, chronograph, 7730 movement, Meister on the face. I have seen one similar reffered to as "skippererra".I am thinking of having the watch cleaned up. I was curious if it is worth the money? If so could you recommend a shop? If i decide to clean up the watch i would like to replace the band with an original type. any thoughts?
