Re: Where can I find a SS Speedy bracelet?

: Sorry...it's for a Limited Edition 007 40th
: Anniversary Seamaster. I like the Oyster
: bracelet as on the 2254.50.00.

Ah, then that is considered the "new" Seamaster bracelet. Commonly sold on newer models outside the USA, but a special order within the US.

Try www.ofrei.com. They carry and can get Omega bracelets at a decent deal. List price on the bracelet you are looking for is around $375.

simply order is as a 'replacement' bracelet for the 2254.50.00. As long as that model is the full-size Seamaster, its bracelet will be interchangable with the 007 Special Edition.

: It may be
: sacreligious to change the bracelet but I'm
: considering it anyway.

Well, we'll let it slide by classifying it as you doing it to protect the original bracelet to maintain a higher resale value on the watch!

Personally, I *greatly* prefer the 'Bond' bracelet. It is very comfy and *far* more distinctive. The 'newer' Speedie-style bracelet is much more generic and common looking to me.
