Does the coaxial has any serious feedback?
In Response To: Omega Movements ()

Hi Mike

I do agree that the coaxial is an innovative movement, but does it have any serious feedback to judged as a very reliable and accurate movement over the long run? No it hasn't and it is too new to be judged as fully reliable over the very long run.
Older Omega inhouse movements have serious feedback, any watchmaker can tell you how good they are. Not that I am against innovations, but these innovations have to be tested under harsh and/or realistic conditions and over the very long run to be said as fully reliable.
Omega doesn't make modifications in these movements, it is Eta who does the movement modification for Omega (I know it from a very reliable source) and same for the 33xx powered chronographs, it is Piguet who makes the modifications on the movement for Omega.

hope this helps

regards

georges
