While I agree, and its not uncommon knowledge, that Rolex in house movements are more robust and time tested than Omega modified eta movements, I disagree that this is why Resale value is better. Case in point. If I were to ask all 200 of my fellow coworkers which watch had a better movement, the Rolex, or the Omega. I would be willing to bet my house that all would say Rolex, not because they knew a hill of beans about movements, but because the Rolex machine has branded the Rolex crown into every one of them. If you think its worth more, you are willing to pay more for it.
