Hi Guys,

In November last year I sent my "bestest, favouritest Omega in the whole wide world" to Bienne.

My flightmaster 911.

They sent me an offer to totally restore it. I DID ask for the "Full Monte" treatment & I mean everything.

The list includes, new dial, new hands ( 7 of 'em !), new crystal, new case back... etc etc

The price made me stop & think. In the end I decided to go for it. Doing some of the changes & not others would annoy me after a while. E.g. everytime I looked at the watch & saw new hands & an old dial.

So at the end of Jan. I sent Omega my credit card details & the OK to do the work. They said it would take about 35 working days to get the job done....

Those 35 working days are up about now......

It's great coming home everynight , HOPING, that something special ( apart from my family & cat ) is waiting for me at home. I'm actually quite excited about this.

I'll post pics as soon as it arrives.

here are the before pics

tick , tick, tick.... waiting ..... tick, tick, tick....
