Hi

The older generation of daytonas were using the rolex 4030 a very modified and improved el primero Image hosting by Photobucket Its bph was reduced to 28800, it has a microstella balance wheel far superior in quality to the zenith balance wheel and it avoided to have watch serviced with very complex proces that the el primero usually requires. The 4030 was used from years 1988 to 2000.
In 2001 was introduced 4130,a 100% Rolex design judged as the best self winding column wheel chrono ever produced and with the largest power reserve on a self winding chrono.

Find enclosed the link of the comparison between the rolex 4030 and 4130.
About the zenith EP, it is a very good movement but the new models are hrrendously expensive for their worth and they are no match to the rolex 4030 and 4130 movements. It just has a gold rotor and other blued screws taht makes it price very unjustified.
About the 33xx, it is based on the frederic piguet 1285 edition speciale de luxe and it is a speial developpment from Frederic Piguet and it has nothing in common with the frederic piguet 1185.Reliability is not its main strenght, tough its a nice movement but it has know too much chrono resetting problems due to a design flaw.
A link about the 33xx translated thanks Babelfish

Hope this helps.
