: Hello all,
Hi Lorenzo.

: I have just bought my third Omega watch. I can
: see how it becomes addictive!
Yeh ! you got that right.

: Anyway, here is the watch. I am not sure if it
: was worth the money I paid, but I just loved
: the look of it.
It's not my style of watch, but I can see the attraction. It's a good looking watch.

: There is no picture of the strap so I can't
: tell if it an original or not (or what
: condition it is in).
I think it's almost impossible to find an original strap on a watch of that age ( according to Chucks chart it's from 1956 ).

: I would be grateful for any comments - good or
: bad - about whether I have done the right
: thing here (and whether I should tell my
: wife!!)
Comments. It looks great. As I said , this style of watches is not my area of interest, but it looks in amazing condition. the hands & crown look to be original, the dial is amazingly clean, the case looks to be in good condition. not all scuffed up & the edges have not been rounded of by polishing.

Lovely lugs !

As to overpaying, I wouldn't know. But if you're happy with the price, that's what counts.

As for the wife bit. That's a tough one. Mine knows about "most" of mine, but she still has more shoes than I have watches :-)

: Many thanks.
Thanks for sharing it with us.
