Speedmaster second hand jerky

I just bought a new Speedmaster Moon (3570.5) and I noticed something strange with the chronograph second hand.

The hand is moving smooth except at certain location on the dial (57, 13, 26 and 48) where the hand is briefly jerky. When this happen the hand will slightly pause. Normally for this movement (21,600BPH) the hand should have 6 step to move a second. Instead it look like 2 or 3 steps for a second or two.

The small second hand doesn't seem to exhibit this behavior.

Also if I start the chrono at the same time as the small second hand pass at 60, after a while (12hrs) they are not synchronised anymore. The chronograph second is late. This tend to show that something is slipping somewhere.

Is this normal for a new watch?
