Seamaster - Coax or Older Mechanism

Hi,

Im planning on buying a Seamaster next weekend, I had always planned on buying the black automatic but now I am considering the Planet Ocean

My main concern is the movement - this will be my first omega and I want to ensure I make the right decision

As I understand it, the Coax movement would require less maintainance in the long term whereas the "older" movement is tried and tested. I read in a couple of recent threads that there are/ have been problems with the Coax movement

I guess my questions are

- Did problems with the "older" movement lead Omega to introduce the Coax movement? Or is the new movement merely an innovation that allows Omega to differentiate themselves from other brands?

- Is the Coax movement "better"

- What are the problems that have been found with the Coax movement?

- Any other advice greatly appreciated

Many Thanks
