Assuming you are buying a new watch, you don't have to worry about anything if you buy from an authorized Omega retailer. If you are buying privately, make sure you get the following:

White outer box
Wood presentation inner box
Instruction manual
White card holder
3 cards - international warranty, pictograms, and chronometer certificate

The warranty card should be stamped by the authorized retailer, and all serial numbers should match. You can check the watch's serial number on the back of the watch at the 7 o'clock lug. It will be an 8 digit number engraved in the back, and it will be very small (you may need a magnifying glass to read it).

If you are buying online from a gray market dealer, DON'T!!! It's just my opinion, but you don't want to buy a watch this expensive with a co-axial escapement from a dealer that does not offer Omega's 3-year factory warranty.
