Re: DeVille Question
In Response To: DeVille Question ()

: I have a new DeVille. After it stops and I wind
: it manually it won't start unless I pull out
: the crown and push it back in. It probably
: would also start if I shake it. Is this
: normal operation?. It runs fine otherwise.
: Shouldn't the watch always start after it
: has been manually wound without the need to
: either shake it or pull out the crown?
: Thanks very much, its nice to have a place
: to ask questions.

I had the same problem occur with two of my Omegas (one was a DeVille Power Reserve model), and both were sent back for warranty repair. If you just bought the watch and you bought it from an AD, I'd take it back. The AD can send it back to Omega as defective merchandise and give you a new watch or a refund. You shouldn't have to wait 6-8 weeks for warranty repair on a brand new watch.
