I didn't know that the color on the hands could fade and like you said it's a good indicator that the watch has been exposed to sun for a long time, useful tip!
for the second point, I was indeed refering to the crown "protectors" and again you're probably right about the crown being pulled out for the picture. how did I miss that... :)
Thanks a lot for this precious help, think I'm gonna go see the watch with some good arguments to discuss the price.
