seamaster 200m quartz reliablility

Hello, ive been interested in omegas for awhile now and have a chance to buy one of these watches, an omega seamaster 200m quartz. from what ive read its from the late 80's and have a few questions for those who have more experience with omega then i do

1. First off how reliable are the quartz watches, ive had other quartz watches from the 90's that are still going strong so i would imagine that they are quite reliable?

2. Second can i find replacement parts for these movements? or is there another movement that can fit these cases should the quartz kick the bucket??

I love the look of these watches, but im not sure on how long it would last, afterall it is nearly 18yrs old, how much longer can the kick for???
