for you steve: bidjan's site and my response *LINK*

Hi

First as requested bidjan's site: The 120 they had for sale has markIV hands instead of the large baton hands that equipped the model, it is not a 100% original model and price is $3550!!!!!

About restoration it is up to the person to chose what suits her the most, of course very person has her own criteria of perfection and quality.

What I meant by wrong movement is sometimes you find a 17 jewels movement in a watch when it was originally fitted with a 24 jewels one. Sorry if I wasn't clear.

For me great items and probably we will disagree here again, 100% original condition with a warranty and working perfectly well out of the box.
I don't have the habit to buy each thing I see. I prefer to talk with my watchmaker and see what he proposes, this how I baught my markIV and my markII at very reasonable prices. I am not someone who rushes myself into immediate buying.
It is not the only bad case I know, I have heard several other cases but from my watchmaker. I think it is up to the inidvidual to buy what he thinks is best for him.

have a nice day

regards

georges
