I agree with you John

1)I think what Omega really needs to do is send
some of their top QC/QA auditors (or, better
yet, independent auditors) to NJ to go over
everything they do with a fine tooth comb.

2)Lancaster didn't earn its abysmal reputation
because of just a few isolated incidents,
and right now on this forum there are two of
us having current problems with NJ's
service. How many other people are having
similar problems but will never post on a
watch forum where we can read about them?

3)I just feel very strongly that such inept
service is inexcusable from a company that
is selling high end Swiss timepieces. They
most certainly CAN do better if they
actaully address the problems, but so far I
don't think they have.

1) True, I think they should stop employing unexperimented n00bs who are so careless and so muddleheaded add to this that very few watchmakers in the whole usa are coming from the most prestigious swiss watchmaking schools and have significant experience, at the end you have the picture. n00bness isn't a good thing and can have bad consequence on a firm when it comes to watch repair/restoration.Omega should fire all its bad watchmakers who work in the USA and replace them by some of its best personnel (watchmakers and after sales service persons) from Bienne.

2) Lancaster was a failure from the start, it had very uncompetent personnel and zero consideration for the customer's requirements and demands.I am pretty sure the further we go the worse it will be with New Jersey.

3) With unexperimented and unwilling to care about the customers's needs personnel such things always happen. Sometimes going for an independant is cheaper, work far better done and more customer friendly.
