Hi Jason,
the Honest answer is that I don't KNOW.

I could guess, (& my guess would be that it is OK ).

The Japanese seamaster book shows this watch on page 159 & lists it as a 1993 watch, ( 2511.80 ) with a 1438 Quartz movement in it.

the ebay seller he list for his references has a hidden profile, but clicking on the word "Private", shows the scores. 444 positive, with repeats, so a total score of 342 & only 1 negative ( some people are impossible to please ! ). He seems like a trustworthy guy.

If you're serious. E-mail the guy. Make your own impression of him & then I'd make him an offer.
