As you said the sky is the limit. I think it depends on the service. IMHO, if it was done by Omega, it will add more value than if it was done elsewhere.

I'd say a good , recently serviced 1000M is worth AT LEAST $2500, I have seen VERY nice examples with an Omega certificate sell for $5500 & I even saw one lucky guy, get one in eBay with a Buy It Now of $1000 ( that's is REALLY not normal though )

Other factors for the price are, extras, bracelets, box, papers & location.

I'd be REALLY careful if the Watch was in Taiwan, but have no problems if it was in Europe. etc etc

I personally feel this watch is OVER valued, compared to the other great seamaster dive watches of the same period. I don't have one in my collection, & to be honest, as long as prices remain as high as they are, I'm not likely to buy one either.
