In Defense of Secaucus

John, glad that things are finally better for your watch.
I sent my 2254.50 to New Jersey in November. Having called them twice to confrim receipt of the watch, and that it was still there for repairs, it arrived home after the requisite 10 weeks.
When I examined the watch, it was in perfect condition. The bracelet, case, and clasp were perfectly polished and restored to "good as new" condition. The shiny parts were appropriately shiny, and the brushed parts were appropriately brushed. There were no dirt or dust specks in the case or on the face. The watch (22 months old, and well worn) looked absolutely new.
It was sent to the spa because it had started to gain time outside of COSC specs, and I wanted to get it regulated under warranty. It now gains 1 to 2 seconds per day since its return in January.
Apart from the 10 week turn around time, I am very happy with the New Jersey service center. They corrected the issue for which the watch was sent, and then did an additional full restoration without any charge.
