I want a vintage Railmaster! I notice this thread seems to be about brand new watches. Being new to this list and hobby, I find the parallels to another hobby I am very familiar with fascinating. I first became aware of the Railmaster on this list, when I saw a modern one for sale. Then I came to appreciate the vintage one....of course Omega doesn't make a true replica of the old Railmaster. If they did I would buy a new one! The American guitar manufacturers do the same thing, making "sort of" replicas which don't quite capture all the details of the original.....frustrating for those of us that like the old style stuff!
