Re: Casino Royale watch...
In Response To: Casino Royale watch... *LINK* ()

: Hello,

: I was able to get an up close look at the new
: Casino Royale poster in person today (movie
: poster 27"x40") and I could see on
: Mr. Bond's left wrist what is most
: definately a Bond SMP.
: Here is where it gets uncertin, though it looks
: like the 2531.80 on my wrist, it could be
: the Bond GMT or the new Co-Axial Bond
: SMP....why I say that is because on one o
: the markers there s a shiney glare that
: makes the marker look like it is applied
: which would imply the Bond GMT, or Co-Axial
: SMP.
: The link will show you what the poster looks
: like (his right hand on his Walther PPK) and
: his left hand near his poker chips)
: The actual poster looks different when it is
: lit from the back and you can see more
: detail.
: Just an FYI for those who are interested!!

This is very interesting, Jason. If the co-axial Bond SMP did debut at Basel (as we were told), then I can't imagine Bond wearing the old version in the film. Then again, it might be a GMT as you said. Interesting....

On a quick side note, are sure the gun in the poster is a Walther PPK? Brosnan switched to the much larger P99 at the end of Tomorrow Never Dies, so I'd be surprised if they went back to a PPK (especially since the specific PPK model that Bond carried is no longer being manufactured).
