Re: What Will Be Your Next Omega?
In Response To: What Will Be Your Next Omega? ()

: Is there anyone out there who, like me, knows
: what he wants for his next Omega but isn't
: quite ready yet to "take the
: plunge" and buy it? For me, it's the
: DeVille Chronograph with the silver dial on
: a bracelet. I think we can all agree that
: our co-moderator, Mr. Keith Downing, has a
: way of making that watch look incredible in
: his pictures.

: The other day I finally found a local AD who
: had one for me to try on (since I was
: worried it might be too big for my 6
: 3/4" wrists). It fit perfectly, and it
: was love at first sight. I decided there and
: then that I would not buy another Omega
: until I was ready to buy that one. That's my
: "grail watch".

: So, how about everyone else? What model do you
: see yourself buying as your next Omega and
: why?

Hmmmmmm. Very tough question John..... It's rather difficult to tell what Omega's going to offer in ten years...... :-)

But as of now, I'd like to either have the Bond GMT or the new upcoming co-ax Bond. It is truely a unique watch (skeleton hands, blue colored bezel, waves on the dial, and bracelet/clasp combo) with features that I adore (co-ax, clear caseback, applied markers...) I'd like to have that as my 'all-around-watch' and an AT (either the black or white dialed w/ blue indices one) for dressy purposes and of course the Speedmaster Pro Moon as a Chronograph/History watch. This will definately be my collection limit.... (Family always first right?)
