I'd agree with John.

There are LOADS of the older models in dealers storerooms/windows. They will probably be available for quite a while to come.

I reckon once the "new" Bond model comes out. "Joe Normal" will want the New ( & Improved ? ) model. This may cause the price of the older models to drop.

BUT, on the other hand, since there are some good AD's out there that already give great discounts, I can't imagine that they'll be looking to sell the older models on at a loss. If you know which dealers already give a great discount, I don't think you'll be able to beat that price.

Even though I'm not really into current Omegas ( & have no intention buying one ) I wouldn't pay $900 for the Co-Ax movement. ( or red writing or the applied markers )

Finally , I know I'm wandering off topic a bit here, IF & that is a BIG IF, the Co-Ax in the new Bond has as many problems as some of the older Co-Ax models..... this may be a MAJOR problem for Omega.

They must be pretty confident that the problems have been solved, otherwise they wouldn't be putting the movement in their best selling model.

I hope they are right !
