According to the article, collectors collect very fine watches that are very expensive, and are issued in extremely limited editions of 100 or less.
Acquirers own at least two or more mass produced and inexpensive watches.
All of my watches are mass produced, (I do own one that is a limited edition of 999 pieces) and most are inexpensive.
I guess that puts me into the acquirer category. :-)
