how much attention did the astronauts pay to the selection of the chronographs? were they viewed as pieces of equipment that mattered, or just like any other watch / commodity item?
how were they trained in using the chronographs?
were there other timers onboard -- stopwatches? panel-mounted timers? etc.
what were the watches used for, as opposed to timers built into the instrument panels or other timing devices?
which timers did they use to time the various events?
