Usually though, I notice someone else's watch before they notice mine.
A few years ago, whilst on a beach holiday, my wife asked my why I was regularly "turning my head" to check out some of the ladies as they walked past....
I replied, "Well, she has a Rolex on & that one over there appears to have pre-Bond on". My wife smiled ( You know, the "knowing" smile ).
I then added. "Don't these women know what sand & salt water will do to their watches, I'd bet they haven't had their seals checked recently"
My wife started laughing, safe in the knowledge, there is 1 woman & many watches in my life.
I know that feeling.
