: 1, You don't know who you are bidding against
: & so could be bidding against a

: of fake 2nd chance offers.
: 3, You can't contact bidders with genuine Info
: that you might have. (before or after the
: auction end)
: 4, It COULD be more difficult to see if someone
: is bidding on their own auctions ( using
: another eBay ID ). I say COULD here, because
: actually the info shown is quite useful, if
: you see a bidder who has say over 70% of his
: bids against the same seller, you can be
: pretty sure.

: see the bidders names...
Yes ebay have made a mistake , with not being able
to contact buyers for some advice on fake watchers
and so forth.
