I owned a Omega Quartz Seamaster Professional. I would like to know whether periodic servicing is required in addition to battery changes.
I changed my battery after 3 years despite the low battery indicator is not activated. The agent did a water pressure test for me. I am not sure whether additional servicing is required for quartz movement. Should I wait till the movement fails before I serviced the watch? From the little I know about servicing quartz watches is that the entire movement is replaced which seems to be a waste if the watch functions correctly.
Thanks in advance
