: Thankyou for your response. I have sent the 8
: digit serial no. on the Lug to Omega through
: their website. Still awaiting reply.
They usually reply. However they may take several weeks.
: But the Warranty card mentions a 6 digit no.(which
: is mentioned on the receipt). I bought the
: watch from the AD in Chicago, listed in the
: Omega Website. Infact, The AD showed me the 8
:digit no on the lug when I asked him.
I am only aware that the serial numbers are in 8 not 6 digits format. The numbers on mine are machine printed, not handfilled.
: There was a red dot also on the case back.
Red dot means case has been factory sealed and not yet been opened.
: Does your warranty
: card shows the serial no. I think the sales
: man was inexperienced. The AD offers 30
: return Money back warranty.
I would question the AD further on them and if the answers are unsafisfactory invoke my refund rights.
