: How can you tell if a new Ti seamaster chrono
: has the latest version of the 3301 movement?
: thanks

You can't... That's the rub... Omega hasn't been forthcoming with dating on Serial Numbers. They've said that all newer models have been shipping with the retrofit parts, but there are still frequent reports of newer models failing. Two failures so far have been reported this month alone on TimeZone.

If you must have a c.33xx movement Omega, it's really in your best interest to have an Authorized Dealer order one directly from Switzerland and have them test it in their shop for a week before you take delivery. The Forum Favorite AD does test every c.33xx which goes through his store and he has found defective units before they've reached customer hands. Six years out, I don't think anyone would have thought the state of the situation would still be like this, but it is.

Good luck whatever you decide...
