Hi Steve, I have to check it better, but if memory isn't failing me, the second one is the US-dedicated version of the Apollo XI commemorative Speedmaster: there was one batch for Germany, one for the US and a third for the rest of the world.
Each had its distinctive marking that enabled to tell one version from another.

A very good source of info for such doubts is
Isnardi's book "Master of Omega".

I'll get back to you on this.

Yes you are perfectly correct. I have already taken a photo of page 127 & sent this to JohnK. He has posted this in various other forums but not here.
The pic is shown at the end of this post.

However I am still looking for pictures & details of any & all watches with the markings as shown in my original post.

BTW has anyone else noticed that the US version shown in the middle DOESN'T have the 1450 bracelet on it ( It should though ) Ooooops
