: buy it or better go for the 2nd generation ? note, the dealer is
: asking for an extremely reasonably price for it.
: regards,
There were some of the Gen1 models that had crown problems. I guess its better called the
collapsing crown problem. Most were early models that were weeded out fairly quickly.
I've owned a Gen1 for several years, on a strap in about 90% condition was $1250.
It was a bargain, it runs well and keeps great time, make sure you get a owners instruction booklet
or download one, the pushers can be confusing. One more note: The bracelet is very expensive.
At an online retailer. they run nearly $1100 by itself. 2k to 2.5k for a Gen2 in good condition seems
to be the going price.
