If it is a chronometer the accepted deviation is +6 to -4 seconds per 24 hours. To really get a good way to see is try what was suggested above as to positions. Do it for a full thirty days after setting it to the atomic clock. After the 30 days you will have a very good idea what it is doing and be able to give full particulars when you bring it in, if necessary.
