Re: Aqua Terra losing time... suggestions?
:
Try resting it in other positions. I believe face up usually is
: the fastest for cal. 2500. Change positions about once every
: couple days and find the best one. I doubt anyone will adjust a
: watch that is 2-3 seconds a day out, but if it gets any slower,
: take it in for service. I believe Omega's preferred tolerances
: are more like +6/-1
I've been keeping track of the time for the past week or so. It has still been losing the same 2-3 seconds a day. I started resting it in the face-up position, but it didn't seem to make a difference. I didn't wear the watch on Monday (but I am still resting it face-up), so Tuesday morning I wound it by hand. It has since gained a couple seconds. I think maybe that did the trick. I will stick to winding it the next morning if I didn't wear it the day before, and resting it face-up.
