Hi Bill, Sounds to me like you need to find a competent watchmaker. Yeah, you could probably find someone to install a quartz movement, but why? You could
send it to the Omega factory for a full restoration, and it would arrive back as new. That's the path that I would take. If my wife had given given me a
watch(she has), I would want to keep it original. Good luck, and we would love to see some pics........David
