In Response To: OH NO!!! ()

: Not the caseback debacle again
: Andrew...............................and, I don't think Chuck
: will be updating his website in the near future.
: I've watched and participated in the caseback question for the last
: two years and find it quite interesting. The simple answer tends
: to be the right answer in almost every
: case........................OUTSOURCED................................comes
: to mind right off the bat.
: Different makers, different timeline, different tooling all on the
: same type caseback. Its the only logical answer. My small brain
: can
: only process so much information at once and I always go for the
: simple answer nearly every time, so I'm hanging with outsourced.
: Very interesting Andrew.

Most excellent to see you again, Jimmy

And you're absolutely correct. It's all outsourced and has to deal with different makers (Ie. LL, GRSA, CRS, HF, ADB) all making Speedy casebacks to the required specs but with the very slight difference in machine tooling and production dates (Ie. thicker or thinner fonts, different Hippocampus, deeper wrench grooves. etc. etc.).
