Can't say I blame you Boyster, I would camp out on that jewelry stores front steps if I had to.
Try this: go to the store and ask for copies of the shipping documents where they returned the watch to Omega, also the report from Omega
saying the watch was damaged and what the damage was. Chances are that they are going to give you the run around and not produce
anything, probably saying they misplaced the shipping documents and that the reply from Omega was via telephone so there is no record
of Omega saying anything of the sort. If this happens, ask to see the manager or owner and explain it all. I'd not be surprised if your watch
was repaired poste haste at their cost. Someone is lying about this and my first guess would be the jewelry store. Hang in there
and get nasty if you have to, that, and the letter writing campaign should do the trick to make it right. One more thought is that
if they can produce the damage report from Omega and it does say the watch had been damaged, challenge them as to what happened
to the watch while in thier possession, they may have dropped it or damaged it. Its happened before so keep digging and let us know what
happens. Also, take some high-res pics before you send it in for warranty work next time. Hard to fight a photo.
