What is Special about the US Special Edition

I know that I've asked before but no one was never able to supply with with a satisfactory answer. First off, I don't know so no criticism implied to those who have made a stab at the reason. Lots of different opinions of the ca. 3303. Tweeking it for some distribution and not others is dumb business. Even Chuck and others well versed couldn't figure. Both the 3301 and the 3303 received a lot of flak during a several year period. My own experience with a US Special, ca 3303 dates from July 2005. When I first obtained the beast was to drop it off at my Omega watchmaker. The watch was virtually new, band had not been sized and lot'sa plastic coating. After several weeks my watchmaker called and said it was ready. Timing and amplitude with a little fresh oil. Set it the other day using the US Atomic clock in Colorado and it is "dead on." I think it's Cajun who says that the ca 3303 when properly adjusted will be spot on. He called it.
